New blog on the block: Q8Mommas

We are 2 extremely busy mommas that know what it is like to be a full time mom and work full time as well!  As the saying goes, “It takes a village to raise a child.” Looking around the blogosphere there are many intelligent mommy bloggers that we admire and respect, and because of them we decided we want to take part in sharing our experiences and knowledge.  We will discuss many vast issues such as pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum depression (yes it exists!), Pediatricians, nanny issues, schools, “the Guilt” that comes with being a mommy, and so much more.  We hope you enjoy reading our blog and continue to do so!

We are so happy to see more and more parenting blogs appear in Kuwait. Wishing them the best of luck! :) )

Check out their blog  and don’t forget to follow them on twitter as well.

The Glow – Inspiring moms

One of my favorite sites at the moment is The Glow. The Glow is a photoblog that takes us on a wonderful journey into the world of inspiring and fashionable moms. You’ll find their styling ideas, go-to gear, multitasking secrets, and yummylicious recipes.

The photoblog was created by fashion insider Violet Gaynor and photographer Kelly Stuart. Some of the first photo shoots included designer Lauren Moffatt and her daughter Stella, and PR Director of  jean label True Religion’s Jeanann Williams and her little girl Ruby. The photography is truly inspiring. Mommies rule the world!

A missing child is every parents nightmare. Everyday a child goes missing and with the power of social media a lot of them are found. Jumana AlAwadhi from We Love Kuwait saw the above message on her twitter timeline and as a mother she didn’t just ignore it, she replied with all her heart. A great post that I hope everyone gets to read.
