Baking party

Having your kid’s best friends over for a small birthday celebration sounds great. Now you only need to come up with an exciting theme for them. Well I have found one for you. A baking party! Doesn’t it sound perfect?

The baking party can have activity stations such as:

• decorating chef’s hats
• dipping chocolate strawberries
• making chocolate candies
• making mini apple pies
• assembling mixed berry tarts
• making strawberry jam
• decorating cupcakes

This idea can work on both boys and girls. You just have to do a little tweaking

I think I want to have an adult version of this party!

Let it snow, oh please let it snow

With the lack of winter here in Kuwait I’m actually jealous of all the snow Europe and the United States are getting.  I came across a blog this morning that had the most amazing pictures of a skating party held in their backyard.  There were pitchers of hot coco, jar’s filled with glowing candles, big tubs filled with skates and a fire to keep them all nice and warm. I wish it snowed it Kuwait!
