Water birth in the UAE

Water birth is an age-old birthing practice that is proven to reduce pain. Even though it is not practiced in the Middle East or the Gulf region, a lot of women have been asking for such method of delivery. AlAin Cromwell Women and Children Hospital in Al Ain – UAE will be the first hospital to have the water birth option and will start next month. Labouring in water can shorten the length of labour and reduces the pain between 60–70 per cent, due to the warm water temperature (between 35 degree Celsius and 37.5 degree Celsius) which has a soothing effect on the mother. Nodi decided today that it is time for him to start riding a 2 wheeler bike. Nodi and his dad headed to the garage took off the training wheels and got straight to work. It’s not as easy as it looks!
