Back to school + Bento lunches

With Ramadan my sons routine has gotten out of hand, who am I kidding there is no routine what so ever, its just pure chaos! School is starting in a few weeks,so I decided that its time to get things back on track. Having proper meals, going to sleep and waking up on time and no more sleepovers. I have been getting things ready for him going to school, trying to beat  all the craziness before Eid. One thing that I’m looking forward to is preparing his lunch box heheh I don’t know why but I’m really looking forward to it. I have been looking up different recipes and foods to introduce and i stumbled across something called Bento Lunches. I have never heard of it before.

A bento lunch is a compact, balanced, visually appealing meal packed in a box. Historically, it’s a Japanese box lunch. It is packed in reusable containers so it helps in reducing lunch waste such as plastic baggies and disposable containers. It is great for picky eaters as they may be tempted by an attractive presentation of a variety of foods.

Some lunches are simple while some go all out. Take a look for yourself

The lunches look amazing with so much detail and creativity. I wonder how long it takes them to prepare such lunch boxes.

You have to check out this flicker page. She is a Kuwaity mom who creates adorable bento lunches.
